The radiant energy of the core will open the gateway to the Asclarias Colosseum. Upon accepting the challenge the powercore will be taken from you and put into the Asclarias you will be fighting. Kill the Asclarias and the powercore will be lost..... Succeed in your taming attempt and it will live on in your new companion. Either way, succes or fail upon entering the Aslcarias Colosseum dimension the core will be used. HINT: If you kill the Asclarias you have to start the mission all over again, meaning you have to wait to accept it the next day
