These custom made sets of armor are regimental issue to all CDF scouts upon graduation from the academy and serve as an integral part of their field uniform.

Not only do they protect from the elements but they've been structurally altered through the use of nano-technology to offer basic combat protection while maintaining an extremely low weight.
