The Vain armor is an ancient and revered suit of armor from Earth. It was at first an exclusive suit designated to the Federal Imperial Righteous Guard. It is very effective against projectile and close combat attacks, as these were the dominant weapon types that existed at this time. Former Federal Calypso Minister Xavyir Rugarnia's personal bodyguard brought a few examples of this armor to Calypso. Also, a few of the old noble families from before the first robot war obtained their own sets, to show off their status on the new world. Most of the armor sets were lost during the war and the ravaging robots destroyed many suits.
